What a brilliant anime and a really good way to end. First season was already a banger but it really steps up in the 2nd season AND ESPECIALLY in this movie.

KyoAni really never dissapoints me with their anime * chef's kiss *. 9/10 for all of the series. It would've been much more great if they continue the story on the girls' college life and how Azusa-nyan will recruit new members of the Light Music Club. I'm gonna miss the girls, as well as this wonderful anime :')

GREAT MOVIE
The K-On! movie was very funny, beautiful, great, everything. Seeing the journey of the girls, all the mess that happened, how they have a good time and seeing again that final part in the movie plus new scenes I loved it (how beautiful is that song :') ).
And well that would be all, and I just have to say:
K-On! IS A GREAT ANIME <3

They went to London together, before graduation day, and they had trouble speaking English, lmao.

Going to seriously miss this series ~

Brilliant and a very fitting finale to close the high school chapter for Ho-kago Tea Time! I'd a few problems with the Movie myself but the final few moments was spent smirking and holding back my tears in good will.

Nice final touch with the parallel to Season 2's conclusion. In a sense, I suppose it wouldn't be off to say that the Movie just expanded on that. A part of me would love to see the lives of the girls beyond this chapter but well, I'll take this. Lovely to see the seniors finally feeling a little nervous, lol. Also, Sensei still can't grasp reality after receiving that wonderful gift from her students, how precious. Some more high school shots of her as a bonus too!

London visit. Hilarious start with the Sushi restaurant incident, that must've scarred the girls for life xD and who can honestly blame them? Great last-minute performance too, and lol @ the weird additions to the "Rice as a side dish" track. Antics during the whole section were top quality, as one'd expect from the series. Sawa-chan-sensei flying off to escort her students back certainly was a surprise though. Honeymoon prospects ;-;

Struggle to make the song for Azu-nyan was quite touching. Especially loved the part where Ui noticed the lyrics but tried to keep her eyes away, how adorable was that! "International" xD, and I find it even more funny how Yui dropped the idea immediately while on stage.

First section with the whole planning and Ton-chan taking the spotlight was a great addition, although a tad bit dragged out imho. Mio-chan's pure joy when "London" was selected will be hard to forget for some time, lol. Yui-chan's geography definitely needs some working, btw.

Now with the main issue of the movie. Dragged out first section, too short second section but a perfect third section. Didn't expect 30 minutes to be spent on the planning phase. Since the OVA covered bits, I was expecting the Movie to jump right into it and honestly I'd loved that more. As for the second phase, it was simply a little short. Montages were great and all, but I wanted more...

Anyway, what a ride it truly has been! This series was monumental to the industry at the time of its airing and still stands to this day, and I think that says a lot. Something about the interaction between the main 5 plus the side characters, Sawa-chan-sensei, Ui & Nodaka-chan in particular, just felt so genuine and full of life that just made it endearing to keep up with. Massive shoutout to KyoAni and to the Voice Actors as well, simply thank you.

Apparently, Love Live! School Idol Festival is the top recommendation for this series so y'all know what's next on my list now lol. I need more of this positive vibe! Thank you Kei On!

Movie visually looks pretty great and the setting of London was really nicely portrayed, but for a graduation trip to London, the fun they had for me didn't really look fun as a viewer. Sure they had their interactions and concert playing too, but it didn't really do justice to the setting and the fact that it's a movie. Not to mention the last 20 minutes are just back in Japan again. The ending of the movie is decent but the whole movie itself... underwhelming and falls short of its potential where I feel like they could have really gone crazy and had some special adventures way beyond what happened there. More exploration and tourist stuff needed to. The interactions at least weren't boring and some little details made me reminiscent of my own trips to different places around the world, so I'll give the movie a better rating than the TV anime, a 4/10. Could have been easily higher though if the trip was more exciting. Needed this film to basically have little elements of a Bollywood film called "Zindagi na Milegi Dobara" where in that bachelor trip, there was a lot of fun events done in Spain with travels and activities, making it feel fun to watch the entire time. K-On could have added its own spice along with the concerts to make it feel like a unique time since K-On has the broad enough range to go for fun events beyond just the music, could have easily goofed off more in London like a proper tourist or at least celebrate the more popular bands and history of music over there as they're musicians themselves to some degree.

Aaaaaand with this, K-on is over :'(

While I didn't cry at the end, I did feel sad (a lot), obviously, but this was a much more of a happy ending than season 2, mainly because they actually showed what happens after the ending of K-On!! which was one thing I REALLY wanted to happen, I wanted to see them happy and not cry so I can be happy as well AND THEY DID IT IN THIS MOVIE. Even if it was only 1 minute, I seriously loved that they did that, it helped with the sadness and emptiness you feel after finishing K-On, so thank you Kyoto Animation for that and also for not making this movie a completely filler one! I loved this journey, wish I was able to watch it in 2012.

Loved this movie as much as I loved the main series. It was fun to see them interact again, the trip was entertaining, the english VAs were actually good and everything just felt nice. Again, I REALLY love that they showed what happened after the ending of season 2 and more scenes from episode 24 with Sawa-chan and that Gig.

THANK YOU K-ON! AND KYOTO ANIMATION. I'll miss you Yui, Mio, Ritsu, Mugi, Azusa, Sawa-chan, Ui, Nodoka and everyone!

Very fun and memorable film, their trip to London and things they done there were really nicely presented. Also their character moments were also spot on. Everything that happened after they returned from their trip is important build-up to the true finale of the show and thats why I feel this movie should be watched before final episodes of the original show for full impactfull ending.

I think this film has some weak points but overall it really fits well with original series and is just fun expierence for slice of life genre lovers.

That was quite an adorable way to end the series ! The whole thing at London was very fun (even if it's an old joke, the scene with Azusa and Yui constantly entering the room looking for each other was priceless), and very heartwarming.
But the best thing was definitely to see the creation of the club's song for Azusa.
I'm gonna miss these girls, maybe I'll read the continuation in manga, I'm curious to see them in college.

Also, I forgot to mention that when I finished season 2, but Sawa-chan best teacher hand down.

honestly i kind of expecting slice of life k-on style movie, but it surprised me very much with the story originality. there wasn't a dull moment, and the story was kind unexpected as the plot moved. from some reason from the how the plot evolved i even thought they would stuck in london. but in the end this movie they did the alternative ending that surpass the original series ending.

i liked almost every song. the ending song was very likeable too.

my favourite moment would be the moment in the hotel where yui searched for azunya, i LOLed the hell out xDDD

I really love the ending. The ending feels emotional and at the same time sad because this anime has finally ended. I don't know why, I feel a bit nostalgic while watching this anime. The story is interesting, the music is good, and the seiyuu's voice are impressive. Thank you K-ON!

Wow.
Today, we finished this series.
Wow.
Really enjoyed it to the fullest.
It made us cry again after episode 24th of Season 2.

The setting was really amazing, the animation, it was super amazing,
KYOANI, you all are something else,
KYOANI,had, is and always will be my favourite Studio.
And, they always prove why they are the best.
They were flexible in the movie, like continuous moving camera, cinematic shots, little details on the instruments.
Wow.
And, the characters are top class.
The music is also top class.
We watched it after Bocchi, and enjoyed and loved it also.
One of my favourite series.

It's not exactly great, but it's a sweet addition to the in-between before the girls graduation, with a trip to London and preparing Azusa's music.

It was nice to see them with Ritsu's friend, talk to Sawako's band, and then have Sawako visit them herself at their concert.
Awesome that they performed in a sushi restaurant and then outside in a Japan culture concert before they went back to Japan.

Charming, cute and sweet, as well as bittersweet again for the ending and "goodbye" song to Azusa.
I almost had tears again like I did on K-ON!!'s E24.

Overall, fairly fun addition, but again, not super grand.
I was surprised they excluded Azusa's tears after she told them she didn't want them to graduate before they performed that song for her.
So, changing that from E24 felt a little off, but whatever.

Nice to see a few more iconic scenes from the gang with new songs. 7/10.

On to watch the very last Special, "Episode 27" which came out after this, and is the last anime installation of K-ON!

Then eventually I'll ready all the manga.
However good or bad it is.

... I wish Sawako had her own spin-off of high school with her band, followed by an epilogue of her finally getting married.

I was kinda ambivalent about it at first, the whole thing felt a little pointless. Not that it was bad but in the sense of "why not just do another ova?" feeling.

But then then they finally made it to London and the real adventure happens, and I had to keep reminding myself that they're supposed to be 17/18 year olds and not really little girls running around unsupervised :).

Then it all starts tying into the end of the series with them coming up with Azusa's song and my heart swooned and broke all over again when it ended. I only wish there was something showing them moving on to college, whether a quick scene of Yui getting dressed in the morning or a simple shot of them standing in front of the campus. I'm really going to miss these scamps.

I think it was a very fun movie, but to be honest it is basically the series in a 110-minute format. That is good because it means that if you enjoy the series you will surely enjoy the movie, and I certainly did... but it also feels a bit empty as a movie experience compared to the series. The stakes it brings are a bit different (they travel abroad after all!), but not too much, the tone is exactly the same, and one wonders why the different format in the first place if you are not going to give it a distinct weight at all.

Very very good and solid and a fantastic time I had but also slightly disappointing in that regard. If this was an arc in the series, I wouldn't be bothered, but the change of format implied a different expectation.

10/10 Breath taking.

This is in my opinion, the best tribute an anime Movie can make to its respective predecessor TV series, I find it difficult to word the incomprehensible fascinating charm this movie has on me, so bare with my vulgar language below.

😫👌

lol, I'm just kidding! I just have way too much to appreciate about this movie! Obviously visuals are at the top of anime I've seen so far and especially for the time of its release I mean it's already my favorite art-style at its best, but also, I need to mention the throw-backs, references, absolute banger that plays in the back, efficient comedy with 10/10 K-On vibes, astonishing background, additional visuals for the best scene of all K-On, and oh god they made their first debut then ends with their music video from the future?!

I couldn't ask for more, however, I always would miss these characters and their soul touching coming of age story because I love them so much, it really touched me, my friends, our club, our graduation, and eventually our separation...I'm getting emotional just typing this imma' say "Happy Halloween" to all of them right now!
